The Joyfield Township Planning Commission assumes duties related to planning and development, rezoning, site plan reviews and more. They provide the Township Board with guidance and recommendations while acting in an advisory capacity on matters of text amendments and rezonings.
The Planning Commission meets the third Wednesday of each month January through November. January through April meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. while May through October meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. The November meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. All meetings are held at the Township Hall located at 5490 Benzie Highway (US 31). Please watch for postings at the Township Hall or on the website calendar on the home page for current meeting schedule changes.
